Sunday in the Garden

Happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a lovely, long weekend. I’ve been going through a bit of a rough patch lately and let me tell you — there is nothing like spending time outdoors among nature to feed the soul. I spent this morning digging in to my garden plans and started with transplanting some Camellia and Gardenia plants into pots. Feeling so grateful that I can spend time outside at home and breathe in the ocean breeze and listen to the birds chirping as try out a new activity — is this what living in the suburbs during thirties is like? Into it.

First time gardener over here, so I started with ordering some basic tools off Amazon. Found these cute garden gloves (I went with a large since reviews say they run small, and they are perfect!), and this tool set is actually quite heavy duty! The tools are stainless steel and come with their own storage pouch — so simple and easy. Two hours later with new plants in pots, some dreadful weeds removed, and the garden patio is beginning to come to life. So excited for this space to take shape and to watch everything grow.

xoxo,

Jamie
